Estate, Trust, and Retirement Planning

GRMPC frequently prepares and administers wills for clients. However, a will is merely a small portion of responsible estate planning. Mr. Michaels and Ms. Heltenberg assist their clients through counseling, preparing, and executing a comprehensive, cost effective, and operational estate plan specifically tailored to meet each of their individual situations. Generally, a complete estate plan consists of the following documents: (1) a will or living trust; (2) a living will and/or durable power of attorney for medical decisions; (3) a burial letter; (4) a designation of guardianship with a trust/ conservatorship for children; (5) an anatomical gift designation; and (6) a financial power of attorney. For larger estates and for those clients facing more complex circumstances, GRMPC assists in the formation, drafting, and administration of a variety of trusts including charitable, spendthrift, educational and living trusts. GRMPC ensures that our clients have well-drafted estate plans in place to make certain that their estate passes to whom they want, when they want, and is carried out in the manner they have chosen. Clients rest assured that their families will not have to endure the cost and delay of probate and that the government will not be able to take what they have spent a lifetime building.
