GRMPC assists homeowner groups and local communities in forming homeowner associations; drafting neighborhood covenants, rules, and restrictions; and representing associations and homeowners in disputes with local government and/or landowners.

As population growth explodes, many western communities face problems such as urban sprawl, transportation, congestion, and inadequate public services. GRMPC assists concerned citizens, environmental groups, and local governments who wish to protect and enhance their quality of life by ensuring that adequate open space and recreational opportunities exist. Mr. Michaels has significant experience in conservation planning, negotiation, financing, acquisition, public-private partnerships with state, local, and federal government and non-profit organizations, the acquisition of conservation easements, and open space.

GRMPC has a special interest in assisting environmentally sensitive developers in the negotiation, planning, financing, permitting, and development of master planned golf course communities. Mr. Michaels is an avid golfer with a keen eye towards responsible golf course development. Golf courses coupled with parks and bike paths provide citizens with excellent recreation opportunities, as well as providing a necessary buffer for the protection of wildlife. In recent years, the golfing industry made huge strides in constructing environmentally sensitive courses that benefit golfers, the surrounding community, and wildlife alike.
